PE Ages (2-4) and (4-6)

Children Sack Race

 (2-4) 9:45 am-10:15 am

(4-6) 10:20 am-10:50 am

This high-energy Physical Education class helps kids build strength, coordination, and confidence through fun games and active play! Separated into two different age groups 2–4 and 4-6, these activities are age-appropriate and focus on developing fundamental movement skills like running, jumping, throwing, balancing, and teamwork.

Hi! I’m Kira! I’m the oldest daughter of 4 girls, 2 of which are currently in homeschool! I’ve grown up in a DIY family, and we are always doing art of some sort. I’m currently finishing up my associate degree specializing in art. I love drawing, especially in perspective. Quick sketches are my favorite. I also love watercolor and acrylic painting. I’m excited to meet you and help share my love of art! 
 

Parent Partnerships

Crafts (5-10)

Cooperative Approach

We value parent partnerships and believe in a cooperative approach to early education. By involving parents in their child's learning journey, we create a supportive and engaging environment that fosters holistic development.

Kids ages 5–10 will explore a variety of hands-on art and craft projects using different materials and techniques. From pipe cleaner animals to paper quilling, each class encourages creativity, develops fine motor skills, and gives children the joy of making something unique to take home.

Holly is an educator with a wide range of experience working with elementary-aged children. She previously worked at the Leonardo Museum in downtown Salt Lake City, where she regularly facilitated a variety of craft activities for young learners. She has also worked as a tutor for five years, during which she frequently planned and led creative art projects.
 

Science Adventures (5-7)

This class introduces basic science concepts through simple, engaging lessons. Each session begins with a short, age-appropriate lesson, followed by fun, interactive experiments that allow kids to explore and learn through doing. We'll explore catapults, hydrophobic/hydrophilic materials, and more!. Students will build curiosity, practice observation skills, and enjoy discovering how the world works in a playful, supportive environment.​

Music (2-4) and (4-6)

Playing Hand Drum

This class invites 2–4 year olds to sing, move, and play simple instruments while discovering rhythm and melody. This class builds listening skills and confidence through playful music experiences.

In this music class, 5–7 year olds explore a variety of instruments while developing a deeper understanding of beat, rhythm, tempo, and melody. Through hands-on practice, movement, and group music-making, children build coordination, listening skills, and confidence as young musicians.

Taught by Becca
Becca has been teaching and sharing her love of music for decades. As an experienced music educator, she has taught for Murray School District, Utah Virtual Academy, and has sat on the board of Murray City’s Arts Department.  Becca teaches toddlers and preschoolers at the Fine Arts Preschool at the University of Utah and at the Murray Music Conservatory.  She teaches adaptive needs music classes to kids and adults with disabilities through the LEADD program.  She also volunteers with the music program and in the music therapy room at Primary Children’s Hospital. 
 

Yoga (4-10)

Our yoga classes will blend movement, breathing techniques, games/group activities, mindfulness, relaxation and discussions.

Hi! I’m Zara, and yoga is one of the most important and fulfilling parts of my life. I completed my 200 hour YTT in 2017 and have loved teaching ever since. After having my own children, I became especially passionate about kids yoga and the incredible ways it supports emotional regulation, mind-body connection, confidence and playfulness in young children.

Nature (3-5)

This nature class for children ages 3–5 explores a different nature-themed topic each week, from plants and animals to seasons and habitats. Each session includes a book related to the weekly theme, followed by a hands-on activity, craft, or outdoor exploration that encourages observation, curiosity, and connection with the natural world.

Colorful Finger Puppets

This class will explore creativity through hands-on projects and playful experimentation. Children will be introduced to a variety of materials and techniques, including painting, drawing, collage, and simple crafts, all in a supportive and age-appropriate environment.

DUPLO Lego (4-6)

Explore Mechanical Engineering with Lego DUPLO. Learn how levers, wheels, axles, pulleys, cranks, gears, and magnets work together to create machines.
Each time we’ll build working contraptions such as vehicles, catapults, propellers, cranes, and more.

Taught by Teri
Teri has been teaching STEM in elementary schools after school programs since 2016 where she works with students on LEGO robotics, SCRATCH coding, and Stop Motion Animation. She also managed the summer camp program at Discovery Gateway Museum where she created daily hands on STEM activities.
 

Art(4-6)

Oil Painting

Throughout the series, children will build artistic skills as they explore lines, color, shape, and texture through a variety of fun, hands-on art projects. They will practice using different art materials, strengthen their creative confidence, and learn how these elements work together to create artwork. In the final class, students will create a unique self-portrait that combines lines, color, shape, and texture, celebrating everything they've discovered throughout the course.

Science (4-5)

In this fun, interactive class, children will investigate a variety of science topics—including nature, weather, plants, biology, simple chemistry, and Earth science—through age-appropriate experiments, observations, and sensory activities. Aloha! My name is Natasha Milla and I am currently a senior at Brigham Young University Hawaii studying Biology and Biology Education. I love all things science from the microscopic world around us to the giant galaxies in space. I have experience teaching and tutoring science and math for elementary age all the way to high schoolers. Outside of teaching I love soccer, the outdoors, traveling and eating anything spicy.
